Terms & Privacy

Last updated July 13, 2026

The short version: Family Tools is a personal project, shared freely and with love — but as-is, with no guarantees. By using it, you agree to use it at your own risk.

I.What this is

Family Tools is a small library of personal tools built by Rose for her own family, and shared for anyone with the same goals and problems. It is a labor of love — not a company, not a product, and there is no support team behind it. Just Rose.

II.Use at your own risk

Everything here is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind — express or implied. That means, kindly but plainly:

Rose does her honest best to keep things working, because her own family uses these every day — but she can't promise you anything, and you shouldn't rely on these tools for anything critical.

III.Not professional advice

Some tools touch on health-adjacent topics — a baby tracker with feeding and sleep guidance, a workout coach. Everything they say is general information, not medical, pediatric, or fitness advice. Always use your own judgment and talk to a real professional (a pediatrician, a doctor, a trainer) for anything that matters. AI-generated suggestions in particular can be confidently wrong.

IV.Your data & privacy

The tools store what you put into them (sign-in identity, entries you log) so they can work for you. In plain terms:

V.Be a good guest

Please don't abuse the tools: no breaking in, scraping, spamming, overloading, or using them for anything unlawful. Access may be revoked for anyone who does — this is a home, not a public square.

VI.Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rose is not liable for any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) these tools — direct, indirect, incidental, or otherwise. Since the tools are free, total liability is capped at what you paid: nothing.

VII.Changes & contact

These terms may be updated from time to time; the latest version will always live at this page, with the date above. Continuing to use the tools means you accept the current terms.

Questions, feedback, or want the GitHub to make a tool truly your own? rose.yao@gmail.com — Rose would love to hear from you.
